About the Founder

Blake Blizard was introduced to the game by his grandfather, Doug Boggs, at an early age. He began competing at four years old and went on to play at Dobyns-Bennett High School and University of Virginia’s College at Wise, where he earned his business degree. Blake continues to compete at a high level, staying deeply connected to the game while constantly working to improve.

Kingsport Golf Studio was founded by Blake Blizard, a lifelong golfer with a deep appreciation for focused practice and measurable improvement. After spending years around facilities built for entertainment rather than development, Blake created a private, unstaffed studio designed specifically for golfers who want to improve. The space is intentionally private and distraction-free, offering complete focus. Every detail reflects a commitment to quality, consistency, and providing the tools needed for real improvement.
