About the Founder

Blake Blizard was introduced to the game by his grandfather, Doug Boggs, before he could walk, and Doug still caddies for him today. He played his first tournament at four years old and grew up competing throughout the region, including four years at Dobyns-Bennett High School and four years at UVA Wise, where he earned his business degree. Blake continues to compete regularly, always working to improve while staying connected to the game that shaped him.

Kingsport Golf Studio was founded by Blake Blizard, a lifelong golfer with a deep appreciation for focused practice and measurable improvement. After spending years around facilities built for entertainment rather than development, Blake created a private, unstaffed studio designed specifically for golfers who want to improve. The space is intentionally private and distraction-free, offering complete focus. Every detail reflects a commitment to quality, consistency, and providing the tools needed for real improvement.
